I have been wondering how 52 percent of the population could still be supporting President Obama and his failed regime. Despite the main stream media and the adminstrations musings the economy is in dire straits. As a businessman and economist I am amazed that most people cannot take the 15 minutes out of there life to find that the unemployment rate is not going down, that the economy is not improving. New housing is at a historic low. Construction sustained about 30 percent of our economy in the past. It is operating at 25 percent of an average year. What does that tell you? Appraisal rules and lending requirements will keep it down for the foreseeable future. This recession is lasting so long that by the time it does improve there will no longer be enough skilled employees to get the industry back to where it should be, and to build the inventory to meet demand. This is just one industry that is destroyed by changes not made during the Bush administration but the Obama administration.
Obama has an agenda to help the green industry which is anything but. The additional costs of wind and solar and ethanol do anything but conserve. Creating the value of a dollar has cost including costs of energy and opportunity costs. If the economy isn’t growing then the additional costs of the new energy source have to be taken from another segment of the economy. Where is this going to come from? It is very hard to designate where this transfer in the economy is going to come from. Apparently it is coming from the construction industry for one. Considering the overall economy there really aren’t any good reports only stories from the left.
It reminds me of the script from Timothy 4:3-4, where Paul states “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Roman philosopher Cicero said, “It is the nature of every person to error, but only the fool perseveres in error.”
As we go through the 2010-2011 budget process we can see that we as a people and our federal government are all fools to be sure. The fact that our congressmen, president and media can call an increase in spending year after year a reduction in spending is so incredibly sad that I don’t know if there are words to [...] Continue Reading…
As we continue to be indoctrinated into the policies of this administration with multi-trillion dollar deficits, trillion dollar tax increases, Obamacare, a new set of un-repenting politicians and new limits on our ability to work, do commerce, I started wondering who are these people that we suddenly take as being experts in everything from economics and physics and ecology and energy to healthcare and the internet.
Who are the people we have elected to make policy decisions effecting our [...] Continue Reading…
Let me share my opinion for the people who want to be thought of as victims. The people who need to identify themselves as a part of a group. This is for the people who need the support of others similar to them because they are perhaps too weak to stand on their own. This is understandable if you truly have a disability, but not if you think the Man is holding you down.
There are two major problems to [...] Continue Reading…
Arizona’s immigration bill SB1070 signed by Governor Brewer will hopefully expose the left wing open border radicals for what they are, Anarchist’s. It amazes me that citizens of a country built around the rule of law; the United States of America would not realize that to ignore the enforcement of law is illogical and ridiculous.
U.S. Code Title 8 Sections 1323-1325 covers much of our immigration law. It is illegal to enter the United States of America illegally. It [...] Continue Reading…
President Obama is now taking the easy road on Cuba, Venezuela and Iran because they are such small countries compared to Russia and China. Maybe Mr. Obama needs to take a history lesson. During WWII the population of Japan was roughly 72 million, and Germany was 7 million, while the US population was over 130 million, and yet Japan and Germany were attempting to take over the world.
Today Iran’s population is over 62 million, Venezuela’s population is over 22 [...] Continue Reading…

Albert King, had a great line, “everybody wants to go to heaven, but no one wants to die”.
I believe people in general want to save themselves from the emotional and physical pain of their death and the death of others. It is understandable. People think that there is a cure-all through the medical system to eliminate the emotional and physical pain of chronic and sudden physical and mental afflictions. Unfortunately, that is exactly what the government is continually preying [...] Continue Reading…

America you need a lesson in our country. Too many people of the left and right speak of the U.S. of A as if it is a third world country. Let’s start with some simple information.
Our country is the third largest by population after China and India. We are fourth largest by size of land mass after Russian, Canada and China.
The United States is the largest producer of energy in the world, and although we are the [...] Continue Reading…
Consumer sentiment seems to be the only thing going for the economy at this time. The President stated today that he expects the unemployment rate to reach 10 percent. I hate to disagree with him, but I can almost guarantee it will reach more in the range of 12.5 percent by the end of the year. We are at that time of the year when many seasonal jobs are filled in construction, travel and other service industries, but none [...] Continue Reading…
The Mouth is the online version of an Open Forum started in January 1996. Ahead of it’s time and short of money my wife and I put our efforts towards another company we owned. It soon eclipsed our time and although our plans were to get back to the paper and another company she had started, we were slaves to what brought in the immediate funds. My wife, the love of my life, has since passed away and I decided [...] Continue Reading…
